Everyday Eye Makeup – Anushka Sharma Style

Hello everyone!

This article is about doing your everyday eye make up in a simple, subtle way in the style of one of my favorite Bollywood actress – Anushka Sharma.

Anushka is mostly seen with neutral and understated eye make up.

The Base :

Make sure to use a good eye cream around the eyes and in the under eye area so that the area is well moisturized. Dryness will accentuate the fine lines and wrinkles so always keep the eye area moisturized.

Conceal :

Conceal any darkness, redness around the eyes with a good concealer.

Tip : Opt for a creamy concealer since it would settle less into the fine lines plus hydrate and conceal.

Prep :

Dab some compact over the concealer to set it.

Tip : Don’t go overboard with the compact or you may end up with unsightly dry patches.

Eye shadow :

Opt for a neutral eyeshadow or peachy eyeshadow. You may even skip the eyeshadow all together.

Only Mascara :

Curl your lashes and apply 2-3 coats of mascara to define your eyes subtly yet make them look awake. Finish with a peachy pink blush and lipstick and you are good to go!

Brown Eyeliner

Use a dark brown kohl pencil to define the water line and lower lash line. Not only does it define eyes beautifully but it is also more understated and sober as compared to black kohl.

I personally prefer brown kohl to black : )

Lining the upper lash line only

Apply a thin fine line of black eyeliner on the upper lash line only.Finish off with mascara on the upper and lower lashes.

Gently smudged defined eyes

With a gel liner gently define the upper and lower lash line and smudge with a q tip to do away with harsh lines. The entire look is about softly defined eyes. Finish off with mascara.

So that was all about doing you everyday eye make up in Anushka’s understated style. This kind of make up is good for working women as well as college girls who like to keep it underplayed.

Hope you found the article useful..
